Recital to Mark 100th Anniversary of Armistice Day
This weekend, Cédric’s Wigmore Hall recital to mark the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day will be streamed live on the Wigmore Hall website. The programme offers a varied collection of works written in every year of the First World War by composers from Poland, Russia, Germany, England and France. It includes solo piano works by Debussy, Skryabin and Szymanowski, as well as rarely heard pieces by Hindemith and Bridge.
