Zauberland opens!

Today, Cédric performs in the premiere of a new music theatre piece, Zauberland, Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord in Paris. Zauberland includes Schumann’s Dichterliebe, a musical setting of sixteen poems by Heinrich Heine, to be performed alongside sixteen newly composed songs by Bernard Foccroulle with text by British playwright Martin Crimp. The production is directed Katie Mitchell, and Cédric performs with the American soprano Julia Bullock.

Zauberland runs in Paris until the 14th April, and future performances are planned across Europe and North America in upcoming seasons. Tickets and more information can be found here.
