‚Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik‘ for Cédric’s Brahms CD

Cédric’s recent Brahms release with Antoine Tamestit and Matthias Goerne has been selected as a prizewinner for the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik. Congratulations to the three of them!

"Tamestit and Tiberghien dress the late romantic sonatas by Brahms in cozy velvet. Their interpretation avoids pathos: it is powered solely by the beguiling variety of colours and a subtly toned sound, which is not least thanks to the historic Bechstein grand piano from 1899, whose twilight tone makes the Stradivarius viola glow extraordinarily tenderly.” (Thilo Braun)
